The China National Symphony Orchestra is performing at the Concert Hall of the National Center for the Performing Arts on the evening of March 3 to mark the 10th National Ear Care Day.

Ear we go

The charity concert is being hosted by 13 governmental ministries and commissions, and organized by the China Rehabilitation Research Center for Deaf Children, which hopes to arouse public concern and support for hearing-impaired children. They also want to raise public awareness of the importance of hearing health and protection.

Notable Chinese conductor Chen Zuohuang has the baton and the concertmaster is Liu Zhiyun. They will be playing passages of the Toreador song from Bizet's Carmen, Happy Young Soldiers from The Red Detachment of Women, Symphony Destiny, and pop song Fill the World with Love.
