Police detain scam artists begging on busy street

Two jobless people were detained for pretending to be grieving siblings in order to beg for money on a busy street.

On Saturday, they placed a cinerary casket of "ashes of their mother" on the bustling street in Tongzhou, Beijing, kneeled down near it and begged for money, which they said they needed to take the ashes back to their hometown.
