More women at work

Efforts to increase the number of women at workplaces will be stepped up this year, Yin Lingzhen, spokeswoman of the Beijing Women's Federation, said yesterday.

The government will organize special job fairs for female university graduates, encourage women to run their own businesses, and provide information and training for impoverished women in urban and rural areas, Yin said,
