Listings: Shenzhen

Led by musician Fang Jinlong, the vocal band Fanghua 18 uses period instruments to perform classic music and folk songs from around the world. Audiences will hear pipa, guzheng, dizi, erhu, horse-head string instruments, single-string instruments and others from China's ethnic groups. Some of the violins and percussion instruments add a more modern touch to the performance.
