Woman's elaborate plot to extort parents exposed

A 19-year-old woman surnamed Li was recently detained after she snapped nude photos of herself in order to extort money from her own parents in Xiangfan, Hubei province, for an illegal pyramid scheme.

Li's sister and mother immediately sought police help when they answered a phone call telling them Li had been kidnapped, and then they found Li's nude photos on her QQ chatroom account.
