World drug event marked
China will commemorate the centenary of the first international meeting on drug prohibition in Shanghai, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu announced yesterday.
The government has prepared for the commemoration of the International Opium Commission, the first international anti-drug meeting convened in February 1909 in Shanghai, Jiang told a regular press conference.
