Stork keeps busy with high-cost arrivals
The stork seems to have had a rather busy time in the Year of the Rat, making stops around the globe - from Hollywood idol Jennifer Lopez's nest to Chinese diving prince Tian Liang's den.
The celebrity baby boom is set to continue in 2009 with highly anticipated arrivals at the homes of such A-list stars as Kim Hee Sun of Korea and Rie Miyazawa of Japan.
In China, actress Dong Jie has taken the lead with the birth of a boy in February. More stars are said to be in the family way - among the names being whispered are superstars Zhang Ziyi and Faye Wang, plus entertainer Michele Lee, who recently married Hong Kong tycoon Julian Hui. Hong Kong singing star Kelly Chen has officially announced her three-month pregnancy and Taiwan's richest resident, Terry Gou, is busy preparing to welcome an addition to the family in April.
