Salma Hayek weds French tycoon

Mexican actress Salma Hayek and French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault married at the weekend in Paris, a local official said yesterday.

They were wed in the town hall in the St Germain area on the Left Bank on Saturday, mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq said, confirming a report on the Le Point news magazine website, which belongs to Pinault's conglomerate.
