Minorities a major attraction

Artistic creations featuring the ethnic minorities have always been a highlight of China's art scene.

The minorities' colorful customs, their unique lifestyle, their mysterious religions and their beautiful natural landscape have inspired artists of all ages.

The ongoing exhibition at the National Art Museum of China comprises nearly 200 works on China's ethnic groups, and include ink and wash, oils, engravings, watercolors and sculptures.
