Flyers sink Bruins

BOSTON: Randy Jones' shot rebounded into the net off a Boston player with 2 minutes left in overtime, giving the Philadelphia Flyers a 4-3 victory over the NHL-leading Bruins on Saturday.

Former Bruin Glen Metropolit, Scott Hartnell and Simon Gagne also scored for Philadelphia, who rallied from 3-1 down after the first period. Byron Bitz scored his first NHL goal for Boston, and Marc Savard and Chuck Kobasew also scored.

In Columbus, Ohio, Christian Backman scored in overtime to help Columbus edge San Jose.
