Chip orders rebound
Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp, China's biggest chipmaker, said orders may have "bottomed out" in the first quarter because of increased demand from domestic customers.
"China customers continue to be strong," CEO Richard Chang said on Friday, adding overall orders in January increased from December.
