Jet forced to land

A Qatar Airlines aircraft, which took off from Osaka, Japan to Doha, Qatar, had a forced-landing in Kashi airport in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region yesterday morning due to technical failure and all its 194 crew and passengers were safe, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The airplane encountered a technical problem when flying over Kashi and fell from an altitude of 11 km to 2 km in five minutes before being forced to land in Kashi airport.
