ROME: AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani said Tuesday the club would do everything in its power to keep English midfielder David Beckham, who has been loaned to the Italian club by American outfit Los Angeles Galaxy.
Asked if Beckham wanted to remain with the club, Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I think so, yes. But I can speak only on behalf of the club and we will do everything we can to keep Beckham after March."
Beckham was initially scheduled to return to the Major Soccer League after his three-month loan spell, but recent reports suggested the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder wanted to remain in Milan.
