Company denies damaging airplane

SHANGHAI: A Chinese aircraft service provider said in court here yesterday it was not to blame for damage caused to a Boeing 747 while it was undergoing maintenance at the city's Pudong airport.

Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd is being sued for $13 million by European cargo firm Cargolux Airlines International.

Yang Hua, Taikoo's attorney, said at a hearing at the Shanghai High People's Court that his client denied any liability.
