Visitor pass scheme

Tourism authorities in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province yesterday launched a one-year pass, which will eventually give tourists unlimited access to 100 scenic spots in the region for 12 months.

The pass, priced at 100 yuan, already covers 35 scenic attractions in Beijing and eight in Langfang, Hebei province. Without the pass, the entrance fees would cost at least 1,200 yuan.
