Traffic accidents kill nine
Five people were killed and 14 others injured in a road accident in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region yesterday, according to local government.
The accident occurred at 1:05 pm when a bus careered off the road after a collision with a truck, said a government spokesman.
