Sloan to remain as Jazz coach

NEW YORK: Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan has agreed to return for a 22nd season, the team announced on Sunday.
"Jerry is the standard for hard work and consistency," Greg Miller, chief executive officer of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies that owns the Jazz, said in a statement on the NBA website.
"Jerry has brought a level of credibility to the Utah Jazz that nobody else could. I am excited that we'll have Jerry with us through 2010."
