Shares surge
China's stock market surged to a three-week closing high in heavy trade on Friday.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended 1.78 percent higher at 1,954.438 points, after touching a high of 1,984.728. The index has gained 7.34 percent so far this year. The Shenzhen Component Index increased by 1.75 percent to 6917.48 points.
