Working in the hand surgery department, you don't need to wear a watch, keep a cell phone or look at the clocks to find out the time. The patients who stream in throughout the day are just like numbers on the clock.
During the day, most patients are rural migrant workers who hurry in with a puff of dust or clayed in mud, holding one or several fingers that have been crushed.
Around noon, knife cuts become the primary culprit of wounded hands - leading chefs of small restaurants or assistant chefs in big hotels stream in smelling of appetizing dishes.
