Abdul declares loyalty to 'Idol'

Paula Abdul, declaring her loyalty to American Idol, denied criticizing the TV series over airtime given to an alleged stalker.

"I am a big fan of the show. I am blessed to be on the show. It's the greatest show on television all around the world and ... a gazillion people would love to be in my shoes," Abdul said. In December, Abdul told interviewer Barbara Walters that the Fox network and Idol producers knew that Paula Goodspeed had stalked her but still allowed the woman to audition.
