Suspect dies in custody

A man died in detention while police were investigating his possible role in six hospital deaths, the China News Service said yesterday.

Wan Jianguo, a medical company salesman, was taken into custody in July to "assist police with their inquiries" after six people died after receiving injections of immunoglobulin at a hospital in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi province.
