Putting smiles on faces

The China Charity Federation yesterday vowed to promote a free surgery program, in association with the international charity Smile Train, for poor children suffering with cleft lips and palates.

"Last year, more than 34,400 children have given back a normal appearance and mouth function following a 45 minute procedure," Smile Train's Charles Wang said yesterday.
