Monk murdered
A monk from the mainland was murdered and another leapt to his death yesterday morning while on a visit to Taiwan, officials from the Nanjing city government said, without providing any further details.
The monks were from a temple in the east of Jiangsu province, and had been invited to Taiwan by a university, they said.
