Mutt ado about the next dog in the White House

WASHINGTON: Mr President-Elect, the votes are in: American pet owners prefer a mutt in the White House.
Two-thirds of the pet owners covered by an Associated Press-Petside.com survey said the Obamas should choose a mutt, and not a purebred, as their first dog. People without pets mostly don't care either way.
Barack Obama said over the weekend that the family was choosing between two breeds: a Labradoodle (a cross between a Poodle and a Labrador) and a Portuguese water dog.
