Media giant's party

Lagardere Active, one of the world's leading media groups, hosted a party in Shanghai to celebrate its 20th anniversary in the Chinese market. CEO Didier Quillot signed the memorandum with the General Administration of Press and Publication of China on the second five-year training program for Chinese publishing staff. The first program ran from 2002 to 2006.

Lagardere Active also donated 1 million yuan ($146,400) to build a Hope School in earthquake-ravaged Sichuan province.
