CHONGQING: Ever since he was laid off from his job in Guangdong province some four months ago, Li Sheng has been running around job agencies in Chongqing's Jiangbei district hoping to find work. Each time, he returns home disappointed.
The 23-year-old migrant worker from Lijia, used to work as a security guard at a nightclub in Guangdong, but lost the job when the club's management decided to cut costs in the wake of the global economic slump.
Li has since returned to his hometown with hopes of landing another job to make ends meet.
