Knowledge is power

A trip to Shi's Gallery transports visitors back several centuries to an ancient Chinese scholar's home.

Here, guests can see all the tools of a Chinese scholar's cultural pursuits - rice paper, ink, brush pens and ink stones, which are known as the "four treasures of the study".

There are also antiques, paintings, books, stamps carved from precious Chinese stones, and desks and cabinets made from distinguished varieties of wood, from trees that are now extinct.
