A moveable feast

Have you ever thought of visiting a museum on your way to work or back home? The idea has become a reality on Beijing's subway lines.

Launched by the cultural industry department of the Beijing Subway, 53 of the Line One and Line Two trains that were refurbished for the Beijing Olympics have been selected for the project.

With 318 carriages acting as exhibition halls, the museum has the capacity to showcase 1,500 paintings and other artworks.
