STAGE

The Birmingham Royal Ballet greets the audiences with the classic scores of Beauty and the Beast and Romeo and Juliet. The company was founded in 1931 by Ninette de Valois and called Sadler's Wells Theatre. In 1990 it moved to Birmingham and changed its name to the Birmingham Royal Ballet. For over a decade, David Bintley has served as the director of the company.
