Tight-lipped student repaid with sharp slap

A middle school teacher in Yulin, Shaanxi province, slapped his student on the face on Sunday when he saw her transferring a piece of paper he thought to be a love letter.

Wang Xibin, a teacher in a local middle school in the city, said he thought the student Ya Ya (not her real name) was transferring a piece of paper to her classmate in a night class. Wang said he attempted to confiscate the paper but the student refused to hand it over. The furious teacher slapped the girl in front of the class.
