Special supplement: Bosch Group continues path of robust growth

Bosch Group of Germany is continuing on its path to growth in China, with 2008 sales in the country expected to reach some 2.3 billion euros ($3.2 billion), a sharp 30 percent increase from the previous year. It is the fourth consecutive year of high growth, Franz Fehrenbach, chairman of the board of management of Bosch Group, recently announced in Beijing.

In 2008, Bosch Group's global sales will total about 47 billion euros ($65.6 billion).

"China will remain a major driver of our growth in Asia," said Fehrenbach. "Our resource-saving and energy-efficient innovations are in strong demand as the country targets sustainable growth," he noted.
