Japanese film 10 Promises to My Dog is to hit mainland theaters around the Chinese Spring Festival on Jan 26.
The film is a touching story about a girl and her puppy that is named Socks, as its paws look like white socks. The girl adopts the stray dog when she is 14 and the puppy is with her through her teenage years. When one day she has to leave her hometown and give the dog to her friend, she remembers her 10 promises to her puppy and makes a new decision.
