'Dog' lover surprised to learn his fido's a fox

A Wuhan man who purchased what he thought was an expensive dog was shocked to learn recently that his pet is actually an arctic fox.

Zhang bought the cute pooch-like fox from a market outside the city during a business trip about a year ago, but recently began to doubt about its breed after its tail had grown quite long, it began emitting a terrible smell and it never barked.
