Carrefour slides

Carrefour SA, Europe's largest retailer, declined the most in more than two months in Paris trading after lowering its forecasts for 2008 profit and sales for the second time this year.

Carrefour dropped as much as 10 percent in the French capital, the steepest intraday slide since Oct 10. Sales, excluding currency swings, will rise 6.5 percent this year, while operating profit will increase "slightly", the Paris-based retailer said
