5 trapped in mine
Five men were trapped yesterday after a collapse at a coal mine in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, local authorities said.
The incident happened at about 6 am at the Chenxingyuan mine in the Midong district of Urumqi. Six people were working underground at the time, one of whom managed to escape, the district Party committee said.
