Lenovo makes change

Chinese computer maker Lenovo has announced a streamlining of its business product lines in an effort to fend off the global economic slowdown.Lenovo will stop using Tiankai, its first product brand for corporate users. All of the company's business desktops will be branded under Thinkcentre, which it acquired from IBM three years ago. Tong Fuyao, vice-president of Lenovo, said the new move will help to boost Lenovo's strength in the corporate market at a time when IT demand has been weakened.
