King endorses PM
Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave his endorsement for Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva to become prime minister yesterday, television showed, making him the third premier in as many months. Thai television showed footage of the king signing the notice of appointment presented to him by Parliament Speaker Chai Chidchob.
