Foundation set up
The Xinjiang Women and Children's Development Foundation was established on Tuesday in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
The foundation, a collaboration between the regional government and 28 other organizations, aims to provide education and training for poor women and children in the region.
