Huet heroics keep Chicago flying high

CHICAGO: Cristobal Huet made 31 saves, and Martin Havlat scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to their fourth straight victory, 3-1 over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.

Havlat ripped a shot from the left circle past rookie goalie Steve Mason at 9:36 of the third to complete a crisp give-and-go with Duncan Keith.

Patrick Sharp scored in the final second of the second period, and Brent Seabrook added an emtpy-net goal. Chicago is 5-0-1 in its last six games and 10-1-4 at home.
