Additives blacklisted

The Ministry of Health yesterday blacklisted some 30 illegal food additives, including melamine in milk products and flour bleach in noodles, which have been responsible for creating recent food safety concerns nationwide.

A committee with the ministry, which supervises food additives, said it will continue updating the list using food risk analysis.
