Reporter lost for 14 days found in police custody

A Beijing journalist who went missing for 14 days after going on assignment in Shanxi province, has turned up in police custody in Hebei province, media have said.

He was detained on suspicion of taking bribes, the Xinhua News Agency said yesterday.

Guan Yufei, son of the reporter Guan Jian, told China Daily that police in the city of Zhangjiakou, Hebei, called him yesterday and told them he could see his father.
