Court upholds election

Nigeria's Supreme Court has upheld the 2007 presidential election results.

Political opposition leaders had sought to annul the vote won by President Umaru Yar'Adua, but the court on Friday ruled the outcome will stand. The vote was meant to cement democratic rule in Africa's most populous nation.
