Real estate agent cheated by online scammer

A man pretending to be a beautiful young girl online cheated 279,500 yuan ($40,800) from a real estate boss over four months in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province.

Zhang Shu (not his real name), 40, a boss of a real estate company in the province capital, met a netizen in June who told him she was a student at the Beijing Dance Academy and needed money to support her and her younger brother.
