Tian Liming's artistic style is certainly distinctive.
Among all Chinese artists of today, his paintings have likely shown the most dramatic changes in both style and form.
Yet no matter how much his painting change, they remain Chinese, unlike many other artists who change their style often to the point it can no longer be distinguished as "Chinese painting".
