On January 23 to 25, 2008, the delegation of Senate of the Parliament of the Republic Kazakhstan headed by the Senate Chairman Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China upon invitation of Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC).
