For the Republic of Kazakhstan, cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a priority in the foreign policy.
Members of the SCO - Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - aim at strengthening friendship, partnership and good-neighbor relations in their daily activities.
Kazakhstan, with its great economic potential - including supplies of energy, non-ferrous metals, good investment climate, developed banking sector and internal stability - shows a deep interest in closer relations with partners, especially in transport, energy, telecommunication, agriculture and culture.
