Mind over matter, says patient Seve

MADRID: An upbeat Seve Ballesteros said he had a lengthy recuperation ahead after being discharged from hospital on Tuesday following several operations on a brain tumor.

"There is a long recovery time and I shall keep on fighting with patience and determination," said the 51-year-old Spaniard on his website.

The five-time major champion was taken to Madrid's La Paz hospital at the start of October after suffering from dizziness and briefly losing consciousness.
