'Scars' now healed

China Daily | Updated: 2008-12-11 08:00

"There was a girl named Xiaofang in the village, she was pretty and virtuous I will never forget your love in this life."

During the 1980s, literature reflecting zhiqing life boomed. By narrating the suffering of zhiqing at this time, the books were often labeled as "scar literature".
