Sichuan is remembered

The National Art Museum of China is to open an exhibition entitled Crossing: Dialogues for Emergency Architecture, on May 12, 2009. In memory of the victims of the Sichuan Earthquake and to promote public awareness of disaster-prevention and emergency architecture, the exhibition will feature emergency architecture designs by about 20 veteran architects and architecture design groups from 15 countries and regions, says museum dean Fan Di'an. Preparation for the exhibition has already begun in Beijing and the architects will pay visits to quake-hit areas in the coming months.
