Ancient tombs unearthed

Eight tombs dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (c. 11th century-771 BC) have been discovered in Fuzhou, Fujian province, archaeologists said yesterday.

A large collection of bronze vessels, jade accessories, and earthenware was also uncovered, they said. This is the first time such ancient relics have been found in the region.
